MIRI: Kenyalang Convention & Exhibition Centre One (KCEC ONE), the flagship convention venue within Kenyalang Smart City (KSC), welcomed over 2,000 participants for the Borneo Evangelical Mission (BEM) Women Conference 2.0, held from 27–29 August 2026.

Held under the theme "Dipanggil Untuk Melengkapi" (Called to Equip), the three-day conference brought together women from across Sarawak's BEM churches for a programme of worship, teaching, and fellowship. Speakers included Rev. Bina Agong and Pn. IIyanna Widodo, Senior Pastor of OHCC Church, Tangerang, among others who addressed the gathering from the main stage.

Also attended was the event’s organizing chairlady, Puan Magdeline Teruki.

Beyond the plenary sessions, the conference made full use of KCEC ONE's flexible spaces. Delegates took part in dedicated breakout workshops tailored to different groups — including married women, single mothers, young mothers, senior women, and pastors and pastors' wives — each led by their own facilitators across the venue's Junior Halls. The Kenyalang Garden provided a relaxed outdoor setting for delegates to gather between sessions, while a marketplace featuring local artisans — offering traditional beadwork, handwoven rotan baskets, and other handcrafted goods — gave conference-goers the opportunity to support local craftspeople throughout the event.
